Marten Machining started as a one man manual machine shop is 1984 providing special machine parts and tooling for the check printing and automotive industry. The business purchased it's first CNC machine in 1987 from the Hermle Machine company and quickly moved to embrace the technology along the efficiency and flexibility it provided.

In 1989 the operation was moved to it's current location at 6800 Hillcrest Drive where the additional space was quickly filled with more employees and machines. Additional space was added to the facility in 2000 and again 2007, leaving the total square footage of the building at 30,500. Though the size of the building and number of employees has increased, the goals have remained the same, to provide the services and expertise that customers require and promote the success of it's employees.
